Senior Citizens Center / Adult Day Care Program

• Provides activities that focus on preventing institutionalization.
  

• Secures and coordinates services for seniors with assistance from volunteers and community agencies
  

• Provides socialization for individuals 55 years and older to alleviate isolation and assist the individual in maintaining self-sufficiency
  

• Provides Adult Day Care for individuals 60 years and above and younger adults with physical, mental or emotional disabilities
  

• Offers outreach services in the community to those who are unable to attend the program on a daily basis due to critical health problems
  

• Low impact exercise by professional fitness trainers, weight room
  

• Ceramics, sewing, crocheting
  

• Nutritious lunches
  

• Transportation to and from the center for Adult Day Care clients, field trips and medical appointments
  

Bearman Golden Gardens, Inc

    Provides affordable one bedroom apartments for independent seniors, ages 62 and above who meet income eligibility 

    guidelines.

Foster Care Program  (Accredited)

• Provides a supportive, positive family setting for dependent and/or neglected children

Head Start Program (NAEYC Accredited)

• Provides comprehensive pre-school services for children ages 3 - 5 years old for low income families who meet federal income guidelines
  

• Provides Memphis City Schoos Tennessee Volunteer Pre-K Program
  

• Provides parents the opportunity to participate in activities that benefit the entire family
  

• The staff works in partnership with parents, community organizations and volunteers to assist in the growth and development of the children
  

• Provides children, including those with disabilities, with daily activities that help them to grow mentally, socially, emotionally and physically
  

• Offers health, mental health, nutrition assessment, dental exams, vision and hearing screening and other services as needed.

• Provides computer assisted instruction in math, reading, language and GED preparation
  

• Develops problem-solving and higher order thinking skills
  

• Provides computer assistance in an effort to prepare 5 year olds for kindergarten
